The “Blue Check” indicates that I am now a paid subscriber to X (Twitter).
Why not? I’ve been a Twitter member since the first year of this popular social media platform. I joined in June of 2007, only a few months after the Blue Bird spread its wings and took to the air (Internet).

Twitter, now X, continues to be a fantastic platform for showcasing my photography and reaching a wide audience. It’s an engaging space where creativity meets opportunity, making it perfect for marketing my work. Plus, having a “Verified” badge on my account adds a touch of credibility and professionalism. This little blue checkmark can boost trust and attract more followers.
A positive image is crucial for any sales effort, and Twitter helps me maintain that with its dynamic community. Sharing my latest photos and updates there allows me to connect with potential clients and photography enthusiasts alike. It’s always exciting to interact with people who appreciate art and creativity.
If you’re also on Twitter, I would love for you to join me on this journey! Head over to my X account and give it a follow. Your support means the world to me, and I’m eager to share my photographic adventures with you!
Over the last two years there have been a raft of social media memes about how badly the new ownership is doing but I the little bird has certainly not flown away. Twitter had a lot of “problems” that have been ignored for a long time – mainly fake accounts, run by bots, that spread like wildfire. I do believe that problem is being addressed because I am seeing fewer “bogus” advertisements every day.
Do YOU have a twitter account?
If so, leave a link in the comments section (below) and I’ll give you a follow.
I also have twitter accounts for two of my commercial websites. They are not, however, “verified” accounts. Yet.
